Recently I had a huge problem with Sheraton Laval Hotel in Montreal.
I booked a meeting room at this hotel on Dec 27 for the first time. I know I’ll be rewarded 10 elite nights.
However, the sales department booked me a Suite room for meeting. The Suite 445 is listed under meeting/event venue on the website. So I tried to confirm with the staff to make sure it will be counted as a meeting event on my statement for 5 times! He said yes every time.
By the day I arrived at the hotel. I confirmed again with the reception. Will it counted as a meeting room. The front desk staff said yes.
In the end, it showed up as a hotel stay on my account surprisingly! The hotel denied any wrongdoing and told me they cannot change the type.
I spent hundreds of dollars for re-qualifying for 2020 Platinum. Now it’s all gone. It’s not only about dollars, all the benefits are also gone with it.
I really need help.

经过跟这位读者沟通，已经确认的事情有几样：
- 题主是通过这个网站查询：https://www.marriott.com/meeting-event-hotels/meeting-planning.mi。之后一直没有收到回复，最后打电话给酒店去预订；
- 已经打过两次Marriott Rewards的客服；

- 题主查询之后，有收到Tracking Number；但之后没有收到协议书，也没有签协议书；
- 现在酒店经理回复说，看能不能补签协议书；

如果因为这10个房晚没有到帐，而不能保级实在是非常冤枉。尤其是看上去这位读者朋友已经通过正常的渠道去预订会议。
